A Message from Carole Gill

I write stories of the paranormal, horror, and love. I'm the creator of Louis Darton, a strong vampire with a dark, tortured past. Come journey with me as I help Louis find love and fight his ultimate nemesis, the evil, demonic Eco.

Know what I want to do? I want to take gothic romance where it's never been! I want to shock and thrill you and leave you wanting more.

The battle between good vs. evil is central to my fiction and there is no fudging over the evil. Evil is evil. There can be love as well or even just the hope of love, but whatever there is, my fiction is never predictable. I don't think fiction should be.

If readers want darkest gothic horror with romantic elements, then look no further!

What Does My Novel Have That Jane Eyre Doesn't Have?!

VAMPIRES!

And if THAT'S not enough for you, there are also:

DEMONS!

PLUS:

SATAN!

As well as...

FALLEN ANGELS!

These supernatural beings are all interwoven into the story that is, in many ways, reminiscent of
Jane Eyre.

A young, vulnerable woman survives her family's carnage by her mad, incestuous father and two madhouses.

She then obtains a position as governess at a creepy house on haunted moorland.

The house is Blackstone House, and although there is no madwoman in a tower, there are some pretty horrific, mad beings about.

Her two charges are not what they seem nor is anything else!

There is the brooding master of Blackstone House who has more than a few grim secrets of his own!

At Blackstone House, Rose Bains discovers hideous secrets as well as her own irrefutable destiny.

  4. Just found your blog. Your novel really does sound AMAZING! When I read Jane Eyre I though...umm this novel needs some spicing up and well the darkness didn't do it for me - it wasn't enough. Now I find about your novel and it sounds like a much darker and paranormal novel than that of The Turn of the Screw - so I know that I definitely have to get it very soon.I bet it will be very exciting I can predict :D x
