A Message from Carole Gill

I write stories of the paranormal, horror, and love. I'm the creator of Louis Darton, a strong vampire with a dark, tortured past. Come journey with me as I help Louis find love and fight his ultimate nemesis, the evil, demonic Eco.

Know what I want to do? I want to take gothic romance where it's never been! I want to shock and thrill you and leave you wanting more.

The battle between good vs. evil is central to my fiction and there is no fudging over the evil. Evil is evil. There can be love as well or even just the hope of love, but whatever there is, my fiction is never predictable. I don't think fiction should be.

If readers want darkest gothic horror with romantic elements, then look no further!

My Reading Addiction Tour: Latest Reviews for The House on Blackstone Moor

''I'm always pleasantly surprised when a self-published book is so well written and this is certainly no exception. It's creepy and haunting and even from the first page I was so immersed in Rose's chilling account of the gruesome tragedy that has befallen her family that it's hard for me to put down the book.'

Review/Interview/Giveaway

'I read The House on Blackstone Moor in two days and from the beginning I was hooked!  This book is an amazing read that kept me guessing what will happen next. Carole Gill pens her characters so they actually made you feel your back in time with them.  I have to admit (which I really don't like to do), this is one of the best Gothic novels I've read in a very long time.  A must read for everyone that likes more of an "edgy" tale.'

 I give this a 5 star rating

Review/Giveaway

'It has been quite a while since I have read a paranormal love story mixed with horror, and this is one that should not be missed! The synopsis was really what intrigued me first, as I was interested to know about Rose's story; what horror she has faced in her already young life, and what would she face later on.

The first couple sentences of the story are chilling and they draw you completely in the story. The story was unpredictable which is wonderful; I love how a story keeps you guessing to the last page! The characters are very interesting, mysterious and of course terrifying, and at times some characters you thought were good, were well, not what they seemed to be, so surprises like that really kept the story suspenseful.

There is a romance, and the writing and conversation plays out how we would hear people talking in 1868, so it was refreshing to read subtle like words that are gentle, but have passionate meaning. I enjoyed this story very much, and have heard there is a sequel, so looking forward to that. I very much so recommend this book, as it will keep you on your toes!'

'When I read the synopsis for The House on Blackstone Moor I knew that I had to read it.  It sounded incredibly intriguing and more than a little bit creepy.  The story sounded very mysterious, and the gothic nature caught my attention.  The story did not disappoint.  I started it and couldn’t put it down until I finished it.'
